If you're an entrepreneur, you need a pro account to manage your cash flow. Anytime helps you understand when you need to open a business account for your company or micro-business, and how to go about it.
When should you open a pro account for your business?
Share capital is essential for setting up a SARL, SA, SCA or SAS. It represents the investment made by the partners when the company is created, in return for shares (SARL) or stock (SA, SAS, SCA).
Once you've defined your entrepreneurial project, drawn up a business plan and found a name and legal form for your company, you'll need to open a business account. You'll need a certificate of deposit of the funds making up the share capital to obtain a Kbis from the Registrar's Office.
There is no set deadline for filing a registration application with the RCS (Registre du Commerce et des Sociétés). However, it is advisable to file as soon as possible after completion of the formalities for incorporating the company: signing the articles of association, depositing the funds forming the capital with the future company's bank, and publishing the incorporation in a JAL ( Journal d'Annonces Légales).
Registration in the commercial or trade register takes effect between 2 and 10 days after submission of your complete file to the CFE (Centre de Formalités des Entreprises).
When should you open a pro account if you're a microentrepreneur?
If you're a microentrepreneur, you don't have to open a pro account. Instead, you must open a dedicated account, separate from your personal account. The aim of the tax authorities is to clearly identify your professional and personal activities.
Article L133-6-8-4 of the French Social Security Code specifies that "Self-employed workers who have opted for the application of article L. 133-6-8 of the present code are required to dedicate an account opened in one of the establishments mentioned in article L. 123-24 of the French Commercial Code to the exercise of all financial transactions linked to their professional activity".
You have one year from the opening of your micro-business to open a pro account or a personal account dedicated to your activity. However, we recommend that you do so before invoicing your first customer.
In the event of a tax audit, you need to be able to justify the cash inflows and outflows associated with your business. Your dedicated pro account is used to invoice your customers, and to pay expenses relating to your business. To pay yourself, make transfers from this pro account to your personal account. You can then spend it on everyday expenses. The Anytime offer is very practical: for the same price, you have a business account and a personal account.
We recommend that entrepreneurs opt for a professional account to benefit from services specially designed for them, with the aim of simplifying their project and saving precious time.

If you own a company with share capital, there are 2 steps to opening a pro account.
Depositing the company's share capital in a professional account
With a new bank like Anytime, you can obtain a certificate of deposit in just a few clicks, without having to go anywhere.
To do this, you need to complete an online application to open a pro account and provide the following supporting documents:
- a piece of identification
- proof of address dated within the last 3 months, in your name and showing your home address (electricity bill, gas bill, water bill, last tax assessment, fixed-line or ADSL telephone bill).
- a copy of the lease for the company's registered office
- information about the company
- identity documents for directors
Anytime then gives you the bank details of the notary's escrow account, to which you can transfer the money corresponding to the amount of the company's share capital. On receipt of the funds, a receipt is immediately sent to you by email or post. This document enables you to finalize your application for registration with the RCS.
Opening a pro account
Once the company has been registered, you can finalize the process of obtaining a business account, specifying who will be authorized to use it, and order one or more Mastercards, in your name or that of the company. Remember to include the company's address if your card is issued in its name.
If you have chosen to work through Anytime's partners, they will collect your Kbis and statutes from the registry, simplifying the process of opening a pro account.
The share capital is paid into your new online business account, which is now available to you.
