French payment service provider Lemon Way and online payment site for associations HelloAsso have decided to strengthen their partnership with a joint offering dedicated to sports federations. Read all about it.

Sports federations therefore need to integrate this digital transformation into the heart of their development process. Convinced that the development of the sports sector is vital, two players, Lemon Way and HelloAsso, have joined forces to offer a joint service to sports federations.

Lemon Way is a pan-European payment institution that has developed a scalable, secure payment solution dedicated to marketplaces, crowdfunding platforms, e-commerce sites and corporates. Based in Paris, the company serves around 1,400 marketplaces in Europe.

Supporting sports federations in their digital transition

" Although they are often unaware of it, sports federations are marketplaces and as such, and in accordance with DSP2, must use a PSP (Payment Service Provider), to collect and manage their members' subscriptions," states Antoine Orsini, CEO of Lemon Way, in a press release published on September 24, 2019. Lemon Way has thus strengthened its partnership with HelloAsso by launching a joint offering aimed at supporting all organizations affiliated to sports federations in the dematerialization of their services.

In concrete terms, the startup specializing in 100% configurable payment solutions for marketplaces will provide a payment infrastructure reserved for departmental committees, leagues and sports federations. These organizations will benefit from " personalized payment thresholds, KYC management, LCB-FT control and various payment methods ". For its part, HelloAsso, which has established itself as the benchmark free solution for the associative sector in France, will provide clubs with access to numerous tools to improve the management of their activities.
