Who can benefit from Ameeth?
Assistance in mobilizing employers to hire disabled workers is available to all companies, regardless of size, as well as to associations. Public industrial and commercial establishments (EPIC), government departments, semi-public companies (SEM) and private individuals hiring staff are excluded.
To receive this aid, companies must recruit, between September 1, 2020 and June 30, 2021, a disabled employee who has been recognized by the Commission des droits et de l'autonomie des personnes handicapées (CDAPH) as a disabled worker (RQTH).
The employee must be recruited on a fixed-term contract of at least 3 months' duration, or on a temporary or permanent contract, with a maximum salary equivalent to 2 times the SMIC. In addition, to benefit from the Ameeth, the company employing the disabled worker must not have made any redundancies in the position in question since January 1, 2020.
How do I apply for Ameeth?
Companies wishing to benefit from the aid to mobilize employers to hire disabled workers must apply within 6 months of the employee's hiring date, provided they meet all the criteria.
The request is made to the Agence de services et de paiement, via the SYLAé platform.
The maximum amount of aid is 4,000 euros for a worker recruited on a full-time basis. In the case of a part-time contract, the employer receives a percentage equivalent to the working time. Thus, if the disabled worker is recruited on a 70% contract, the company will receive 70% of the maximum Ameeth amount.
The hiring bonus is paid at the end of each quarter, for a maximum period of one year. It can be combined with other aid available to employers from the Association de gestion du fonds pour l'insertion des personnes handicapées (Agefiph), such as aid for adapting work situations or aid for the reception, integration and professional development of disabled people.
