Anytime has developed a range of payment key fobs with Mastercard nano chips
Contactless, the new payment standard?
The Banque de France announced 1.2 billion contactless transactions carried out in 2017.
According to a study conducted by Mastercard, 24% of Europeans say they are ready to pay contactlessly with their classic bank card, but also with any other object, such as a watch, bracelet or key ring. The American player also announced that contactless payments increased by 145% in 2017 for Mastercard and Maestro cards. While the number of bankcards equipped with contactless technology is growing, so too is the number of merchants equipped: points of sale accepting contactless payment rose by 42% in Europe.
In November 2017, Anytime, via a survey carried out with YouGov, questioned the French to better understand which contactless payment objects they felt were best suited to their needs. At the time, 15% of respondents were in favor of the connected key fob.
Towards contactless...without cards
Anytime's connected key fob contains a Mastercard contactless chip, enabling you to pay amounts of up to €30 without having to enter a PIN code. The Anytime app lets you control the key ring (card blocking/unblocking, spending limits, etc.).
All you have to do is place your key fob on the payment terminal. An audible signal indicates that the payment has been accepted, and the receipt is acknowledged.
Towards a technology developed for professionals
FinTech also offers its white-label technology to professionals in all sectors. Small and large companies alike can offer their customers customized, state-of-the-art payment services.
As an example, in 2017, British bank Barclays and retailer Topshop forged a partnership that offered Topshop customers connected jewelry as a means of payment.
Anytime is the neobank for businesses, professionals and independent individuals. Launched in 2014, it offers a 100% online current account, a simple and modern interface, advisors available by phone, all with simple pricing and no hidden fees. Registration is fast, completely paperless and allows customers to save time, control their account, better manage business expenses as well as personal expenses, and have tools for cashing (transfer, check, payment terminal, payment button..).
