Anytime is the first neobank for businesses, freelancers and individuals to offer a major innovation in partnership with Photomaton®.
Anytime launches its agencies with Photomaton booths
Photomaton®, a subsidiary of the Photo-Me® group, operates several thousand Internet-connected photo booths in France.
Today's banks have less and less need for branches, and all the players are banking on the Internet, but branches remain essential for imposing a brand, maintaining a strong link with customers and meeting customer expectations.
For its part, in response to the growing digitalization of services, Photomaton® is transforming its booths into a new "phygital" network, available every day with a wide range of opening hours.
Photomaton® and Anytime have therefore signed a partnership agreement, and will be offering a new service from November onwards: opening an Anytime account in a Photomaton® booth. Setting up an account in a Photomaton® Multifunction booth takes just a few minutes: simply fill in a form on the touch screen, then scan an ID and proof of address using the A4 scanner. After a final signature on the touch screen, all that's left to do is pay the amount required to open the account, according to the options chosen. An Anytime advisor processes the application within 2 working days, and customers receive their Mastercard 2 days after their application has been validated.
"The launch of this solution marks the culmination of a team effort, and the birth of a new physical network that enables bank branches to be digitized. The powerful collaboration with Photomaton® will enable us, with its 48,000 distribution locations in 18 countries, to massively recruit new customers while controlling our acquisition costs. The high-visibility locations will enable us to offer local services that will be rolled out gradually, such as a video appointment with an advisor, depositing a cheque, handing over small amounts of cash..." explains Damien Dupouy, CEO of Photomaton®. explains Damien Dupouy, CEO and co-founder of Anytime.
Visits to bank branches are declining, with many branches closing (1,466 establishments between 2010 and 2016 according to the French Banking Federation). The Anytime - Photomaton® offer provides an alternative to traditional bank branches. "Photomaton® offers complete coverage of the country thanks to its numerous booths located in high-traffic areas. This means we can offer a local service that today consists of opening a bank account, and in the future will offer other services, without having to go to a branch," explains Eric Mergui Group Chief Operating Officer of Photo Me International.
The first 10 booths are being installed in the Paris region, at the following sites in particular: - Gare St Lazare - next to Burger King - Gare du Nord - next to Gare de l'Est - metro access - Gare de Lyon - Hall 3 - Metro Chatelet - Porte Lescot exit - Metro La Défense - corridor between the transport network and Les 4 Temps - CC Italie 2 (in the toilet corridor) - Leclerc Franconville - Leclerc Osny - Leclerc Gennevilliers
